8185bb5347 CREATE SUBSCRIPTION ... SERVER.
Allow CREATE SUBSCRIPTION to accept a foreign server using the SERVER
clause instead of a raw connection string using the CONNECTION clause.

  * Enables a user with sufficient privileges to create a subscription
using a foreign server by name without specifying the connection
    details.

  * Integrates with user mappings (and other FDW infrastructure) using
    the subscription owner.

  * Provides a layer of indirection to manage multiple subscriptions
to the same remote server more easily.

Also add CREATE FOREIGN DATA WRAPPER ... CONNECTION clause to specify
a connection_function. To be eligible for a subscription, the foreign
server's foreign data wrapper must specify a connection_function.

Add connection_function support to postgres_fdw, and bump postgres_fdw
version to 1.3.

Bump catversion.

c297a47c5f postgres_fdw: Add "used_in_xact" column to postgres_fdw_get_connections().
This commit extends the postgres_fdw_get_connections() function to
include a new used_in_xact column, indicating whether each connection
is used in the current transaction.

This addition is particularly useful for the upcoming feature that
will check if connections are closed. By using those information,
users can verify if postgres_fdw connections used in a transaction
remain open. If any connection is closed, the transaction cannot
be committed successfully. In this case users can roll back it
immediately without waiting for transaction end.

The SQL API for postgres_fdw_get_connections() is updated by
this commit and may change in the future. To handle compatibility
with older SQL declarations, an API versioning system is introduced,
allowing the function to behave differently based on the API version.

708d165ddb postgres_fdw: Add function to list cached connections to foreign servers.
This commit adds function postgres_fdw_get_connections() to return
the foreign server names of all the open connections that postgres_fdw
established from the local session to the foreign servers. This function
also returns whether each connection is valid or not.

This function is useful when checking all the open foreign server connections.
If we found some connection to drop, from the result of function, probably
we can explicitly close them by the function that upcoming commit will add.

This commit bumps the version of postgres_fdw to 1.1 since it adds
new function.

d0d75c4022 Add postgres_fdw contrib module.
There's still a lot of room for improvement, but it basically works,
and we need this to be present before we can do anything much with the
writable-foreign-tables patch. So let's commit it and get on with testing.
