44d29f5c6c EUC_CN, EUC_JP, EUC_KR, EUC_TW: Skip U+00A0 tests instead of failing.
Settings that ran the new test euc_kr.sql to completion would fail these
older src/pl tests. Use alternative expected outputs, for which psql
\gset and \if have reduced the maintenance burden. This fixes
"LANG=ko_KR.euckr LC_MESSAGES=C make check-world".  (LC_MESSAGES=C fixes
IO::Pty usage in tests 010_tab_completion and 001_password.) That file
is new in commit c67bef3f32. Back-patch
to v14, like that commit.

db23464715 plpython: Remove regression test infrastructure for Python 2.
Since 19252e8ec9 we reject Python 2 during build configuration. Now that the
dust on the buildfarm has settled, remove regression testing infrastructure
dealing with differing output between Python 2 / 3.

2dfa15de55 Make plpython_unicode regression test work in more database encodings.
This test previously used a data value containing U+0080, and would
therefore fail if the database encoding didn't have an equivalent to
that; which only about half of our supported server encodings do.
We could fall back to using some plain-ASCII character, but that seems
like it's losing most of the point of the test. Instead switch to using
U+00A0 (no-break space), which translates into all our supported encodings
except the four in the EUC_xx family.

Per buildfarm testing. Back-patch to 9.1, which is as far back as this
test is expected to succeed everywhere. (9.0 has the test, but without
back-patching some 9.1 code changes we could not expect to get consistent
results across platforms anyway.)

5809a64584 Set client encoding explicitly in plpython_unicode test
This will (hopefully) eliminate the need for the
plpython_unicode_0.out expected file.

4ab6ebf3f4 Add Unicode support in PL/Python
PL/Python now accepts Unicode objects where it previously only accepted string
objects (for example, as return value). Unicode objects are converted to the
PostgreSQL server encoding as necessary.

This change is also necessary for future Python 3 support, which treats all
strings as Unicode objects.

Since this removes the error conditions that the plpython_unicode test file
tested for, the alternative result files are no longer necessary.

9d9848668f Split the plpython regression test into test cases arranged by topic, instead
of the previous monolithic setup-create-run sequence, that was apparently
inherited from a previous test infrastructure, but makes working with the
tests and adding new ones weird.
