279de54fe3 778. [bug] When starting cache cleaning, cleaning_timer_action() 
returned without first pausing the iterator, which
                        could cause deadlock. [RT #998]
(this was fixed by Tale's recent changes to cache.c)

2f5f42596b - Stop can now use rndc, when passed the --use-rndc option. 
- Slightly restructured code to eliminate duplication.
- No longer waits five seconds for a server to die, if it dies promptly.
